Sawley Security Career Opportunities
Sawley Security is looking for dedicated, honest and reliable individuals to join us. We operate only in the East Midlands region, and have opportunities at ground-floor level, as Security Officers, mainly in Nottingham and the surrounding area.
Sawley Security is an Equal Opportunities employer, and if you are over 21 (for insurance purposes) we are interested in talking to you. You must be able to provide a checkable work history, covering the last 10 years on a month-by-month basis: this is essential, as we vet all applications fully. If you have criminal convictions or County Court Judgements against you in the recent past, we will be unable to employ you. We prefer to employ individauls with their own transport, as weekend working, and a reliance upon public transport, are not very compatible.
The Dark Side
You need to be prepared to work anti-social hours, including regular nights and weekends, and the shifts are usually around 12 hours long. Weekends off are rare, it's not suitable for those who are scared of the dark, and you have to like your own company.
The Light Side
The work is not strenuous, you are your own boss (as long as the work is done properly), you can earn a reasonable wage, which is weekly paid, with average top-line income of over £18,000 per annum. You get your 'weekends' during the week, with days off when others are working, so you can enjoy your hobbies without the crowds!
Training
Sawley Security can provide security training that conforms to SIA (Security Industry Authority) standards, and is vital to enable you to get your licence. We are an EDEXCEL Approved Centre for BTEC qualifications, and are able to offer avariety of training for both future employees and those from other organisations.
