Sawley Security was formed late 1993 as a partnership, providing Security Services in Nottingham.
Due to expansion into Mobile Patrols and Keyholding, from the initial Security Guarding Service it was formed as a limited entity in 1996. Following the implementation of a quality system, the company was certificated to ISO 9002 in September 1999 and in the November was granted membership of the BSIA.
In September 2001 a management buyout took place and the present directors took the helm. The quality procedures were revised to the new ISO 9001:2000 and certification to the new standard took place in February 2002. Sawley Security was only the eighth NSI inspected company to achieve the new certification by this date. At the same time the company was proud to receive the Investors In People award. In 2003 the NSI introduced the medal system to replace the standard certification and Sawley Security received their 'NSI GUARDING GOLD' medal in the November.
In June 2003 Sawley Security purchased FlexiGard Systems and have had great success in getting systems out to both old and new customers.
Sawley Security were granted Approved Contractor status, under the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) in April 2006. This confirms the quality of our standards, and the ethical way that we conduct our business.
'Big enough to do the job, small enough to care' has been our operating ethic from day one and whilst expansion does take place we do not allow growth to effect quality. |
